Benjamin Steenhoek is a PhD student in the Department of Computer Science at Iowa State University. He is studying in the Program Analysis & AI Lab advised by Dr. Wei Le. His research interests lie at the intersection of machine learning and software engineering. His goal is to improve methods of using deep learning to improve code quality and understand source code. Currently, he is working on studying and developing deep learning models for vulnerability detection.
