Daye Nam is a Software Engineering Ph.D. student at the Software and Societal Systems at Carnegie Mellon University, where she is co-advised by Brad Myers, Bogdan Vasilescu, and Vincent Hellendoorn. Daye's research interests lie at the intersection of Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, and Human Computer Interaction, to improve API usability. Her research involves two main components: studying developers to understand the challenges they face in learning and using APIs, and developing methods and tools for developers to learn and use APIs efficiently and correctly.
